About Us

Mission

To create a welcoming and supportive community for the Deccan diaspora in Ireland by:

  • Promoting social, cultural, and educational development
  • Encouraging community bonding through events and initiatives
  • Providing support structures that uplift and engage all age groups

Deccan Club Ireland (DCI) was established in November 2005 with the core mission of fostering fraternity, understanding, and sociability among members of the community. Since its inception, DCI has been dedicated to strengthening bonds within the Deccan diaspora while providing informative, cultural, and social support to uplift the wider community.

Organizational Overview

Founded in 2005, the Deccan Club of Ireland has grown to become a vibrant community organization with over 500 members across Ireland.

We started as a small gathering of friends and have now evolved into a non-profit organization with regular events and programs.

Our executive committee is elected by members, ensuring democratic representation of our community's interests.

Vision

DCI envisions a connected, empowered, and culturally enriched community where:

  • Youth are inspired to excel through recognition and leadership opportunities
  • Culture is celebrated through artistic expression and heritage preservation
  • Unity thrives through inclusive programs that bridge diverse backgrounds

Looking ahead, DCI is focused on:

  • Youth Talent Awards and Academic Recognition
  • Launching a vibrant Youth Magazine platform
  • Expanding with interactive workshops and leadership programs
  • Continuing moral and character-building initiatives
